On Monday 29th July we had a company visit to Inspigo. Inspigo, inspiration on the go, is a podcast media platform that serves up high quality of information and new ways of learning. Our vision is to enrich & empower people's lives by bringing them inspirational talks, useful knowledge, and entertainment - anytime anywhere. The office is located at Loop Haus.

Who is the founder?

It is founded by Tyo Guritno, Yoris Sebastian and Eva Ditasari, the app offers positive content targeted toward millennial.

On the first session, they explained about podcasts in general. Podcast is audio-on-demand. This means that you can access any topics you want whenever. It is currently a riding industry internationally.

Next, they told us about their users or listeners. Most of the users are in the age of 18-34 and there is a balance in the gender.

Their listeners are called Inspigoers. Inspigoers like to share knowledge to their friends and families. This makes Inspigo more known to the public. Inspigo likes to experiment with similar contents to attract more users to listen using their platform. They decide what podcast to publish by analysing the data they have. The data is based on contents people listen to.

That was the end of the presentation. Lastly, we had a question and answer session. Some of us asked and here are some questions and the answer to it:

What are the top 3 topics Inspigoers listen to?

- Skills / self-skills

- Financial management

- Mindfulness

How did you start-up Inspigo?

Inspigo is actually his third start-up. He was able to learn from the past and make this business a successful one. A key to his success is to be able to solve problems with the minimum resources available. Before releasing the Inspigo app, he already started earning money. It does not always require a high amount of capital to start a business of your own. You should be able to make money out of your solution.

How do you find speakers for the podcast in Inspigo?

They usually volunteer on their own as they also want to be known to the public. It is a win-win for both Inspigo and the speaker. These speakers needs to go under certain procedures to join Inspigo. Here are their procedures:

- Send an email or a dm on instagram to Inspigo

- Background check on them

- Track their record

- Promotion through online asset

- LinkedIn

At the end of the session, he gave us some helpful advices for us to find our passion and survive in the industry,

"Go explore as many things as you can."

"When you explore, try to make projects."

It was a fun and inspiring visit. It taught me on how to start up a business and also got new insights about Inspigo. I started listening to their podcast on the way home. There are a lot of topics I can choose from which is very useful to develop my skills and also self. I was excited when they told us we can get a one-month free premium access. Their office is very aesthetically pleasing. They also had an amazing roof top and a slide to play with. The visit to Inspigo is memorable and worth going to.
