Proposal Making Progress

For this class, we were assigned to create something that can help with maintaining well-being through creativity. The class focuses on engagement with the wider community and provides a platform to explore collaborative practice through industry, competitions, cultural organizations, community-based groups, non-governmental organizations and

charities.

Introduction

First we were assigned to a group. My group got the topic "relationship". The team proceed on what specific topic we should go with and came up with "relationship during the pandemic". Then we branch it out and decide on the target market and our objectives.

Research

The next step was to do a research on the topic. We collected responses by interviewing some of our friends and also from Google Forms. These are the questions we asked to the responders:

Final Proposal

After collecting the data above we proceed on making our proposal. The idea that we decide to go with is making a platform where we can promote couple counseling courses to the public by engaging through game shows and sharing sessions. By this, we are expecting that people would be more aware of how couple counseling is important in a relationship. The contents will mostly focus on the topic of communication and trust. As for the communication strategy, the game show videos will be posted through the platform YouTube. To further promote the courses, an Instagram account is created which will contain contents on education about couples’ communication, sharing session IGTV videos, and also promoting our couple counseling course to our YouTube channel.

The project will also partner up with Konselia, a platform that makes it easier for counselors to meet the right counselor. Konselia will act as a bridge where the viewers of the game show can be directed to the online counseling courses they have after watching the show.

We also divided the job roles of each member:

1. Steph — producer and arranging equipment for the show

2. Keiza — scriptwriter and storyboard

3. Fenisa — budgeting, rundown, standby cut the video clips

4. Gloria — video editor and contact counselors

5. Tania — contact couples and help other tasks

6. Michael — buy the equipment and contact studio

I was in charge of making the script and the storyboard for the video game show. I tried to make fun questions that would result in answers that the viewers might like. This is the final script that we decided to use for the video:

Moderator: Please introduce yourselves and tell us how long have you been together Couples: *responds*

Moderator: So I’m going to start this off with a question, how well do you guys think that you know each other?

Moderator: Today we are going to put that to the test with a little twist! You will both be hooked up to a lie detector so that you will know when one of you is lying.

Moderator: Now we’re gonna ask you guys some questions about your relationship. Your goal is to tell the truth. If you tell the truth, you will avoid getting shocked. But if you don’t you will get shocked.

Moderator: Have you ever lied about an excuse for being late to a date?
