Paper weaving is a craft in which thin strips or sheets of paper are woven together to create textured, durable, and colorful new creations.
In this class, we learnt how to do paper weaving.
Before doing the assignment, I made a mock-up to practice weaving the papers.
I decided to choose water and fire for my paper weaving theme. I painted the fire and water using acrylic paint on an A3 drawing paper

Before proceeding to cut and weave the actual artwork, I made a mock-up of the artwork so that I can easily imagine how the weaving would look like.
During class, I cut both papers according to the shapes that I sketched.
Then, I weave both papers and attached them to a black infra board to hold the papers intact.
The assignment was to make a newspaper design of an art newspaper using Adobe Indesign.
Before sketching and designing, I went to Galeri Nasional Indonesia to take pictures.
This is my first sketch for the newspaper design. After I did a QC with the lecturer, I resized the heading to a larger size.

- Make the leading of the heading tighter
- Make font size of lead paragraph larger
