The assignment was to make a newspaper design of an art newspaper using Adobe Indesign.

This is my first sketch for the newspaper design. After I did a QC with the lecturer, I resized the heading to a larger size.

Second and third sketch progress

Cropping the pictures

Making the modular grid, newspaper title, and placing the cropped ant picture.

Fitting the cropped ant image and placing the main article. Make the heading larger than the paragraph.

Making paragraph styles

Using the text wrap tool and adjusting it with the direct selection tool

Placing the other articles and images by referencing from the sketch

QC Results

- Make the leading of the heading tighter

- Make font size of lead paragraph larger

- Adjust quote position to 3 columns, making it bigger

- Change the font to 11 pt
