Packaging
Marawa Handmade still uses plastic as their packaging. Instead of plastic, Marawa can switch to das bag to be eco-friendly.

Campaign
As Marawa Handmade employs local sewers, especially mothers who need extra cash, around the area of the production house, a workshop dedicated to teach and enhance the skills of the mothers around the area can be held. With this, the mothers can obtain embroidering skills which can be used later on to work in Marawa Handmade to earn more for their family.

Back-to-school season is an exciting time for children as they look forward to the year ahead, but unfortunately, some children do not have access to the supplies they need for a prosperous school year. Every new terms of school, Marawa provides children in need with essential school supplies through #UntukAnakBangsa program. #UntukAnakBangsa charity where in every purchase of Marawa Products, the customers will get a chance to donate a suitable bag for the children who need them.
To run this event, Marawa team would go to schools around Bandung and hold an art activity where the children can express themselves through coloring. Their artworks will be printed onto a drawstring bag which they can bring home along with the crayons as well as the artwork they made.
Collaboration with IBU Foundation
Marawa will partner up with Indonesia Bhadra Utama (IBU) foundation, a volunteer based organization who works to respond to humanitarian and development issues in Indonesia especially for Mother, Children, and Youth that is based in Bandung. Partnering with IBU foundation allows Marawa to accept donations that are used to purchase the costs for #TasUntukAnakBangsa for distribution to less fortunate kids in Indonesia.
