First step

What I did first was draw and paint the design in black and white on A4 paper. This allows me to experiment and focus more onto the design.

The top design has a detail of the fish's tail outline while the bottom design does not.

At the end, I chose the design without the tail in detail to further showcase the Gestalt principle.

Last Step

Afterwards, I applied colors into the design. I chose red-orange and blue which are complementary colors.
